I love flowers and now starting to like and use some herbs. I recently read a book regarding flowers and herbs arrangements and included there are their meanings. So the next time we receive and give some flowers and herbs we will know what they mean and to the person were giving them.

Amaryllis- Pride, Splendid beauty
Anemone- Withered hopes, forsaken
Angelica- Inspiration
Apple Blossom- preference
Basil- Good Wishes
Bay Flower- Glory
Bellflower (white) -Gratitude
Bluebell- constancy
Buttercup-ChildhoodSo the next time you mixed basil in your spaghetti, you will remember that it means good wishes. And if somebody gave you an acacia flower it means secret love.
